Details: We are searching for a technology leader who is entrepreneurial and who has had a few business successes.
This person will develop the Electric Vehicle business and market for a $6B energy service provider as their president.
As the business grows, it'll be spun off into a subsidiary.
This is a fantastic situation for a leader to "own" the EV market by developing a team, a market vision, develop different value chains, oversee an incubation group with fully funded financial resources.
I need someone who can take an idea in its infancy to develop into a big idea where the company can "own" the market.
President, Electric Vehicles Solutions for a publicly traded international energy provider that operates many diverse energy facilities, each of them with unique characteristics depending on geographical factors, available fuel sources or alternate forms of energy.
Role: The President of EV Solutions will be responsible for building a new retail services business for the U.S. electric vehicle market. It is envisioned that EV Solutions will be spun-off into a majority-owned subsidiary that is jointly-owned with other key value-chain partners.
This role will have P&L responsibility and will create and execute the long-term strategy to grow the market opportunity and create shareholder value.

Location: Houston, TX. or Princeton, NJ.
Position Responsibilities:
1 Leads the development and implementation of the strategy and business plan.
2 Ensures proper financial analysis to produce a favorable return on investment to company.
3 Working with SVP, Strategy & Financial Structure raises external capital/equity.
4 Develops critical partnerships in the electric vehicle value chain including potential joint owners of the business.
5 Recruits, hires, develops, and retains the functional talent to execute the strategy.
6 Communicates the vision of the business to internal and external stakeholders including employees, customers, partners, investors, regulators, legislators, and the general public.
7 Creates opportunities in adjacent segments of the electric vehicle value chain.
8 Working with the EVP, Strategy identifies and executes M&A activity to drive industry and business value growth.
9 Develops distribution channels.
10 Shapes standards, policies, and market design to enable the growth of a high-opportunity electric vehicle eco-system.
Qualifications:
1 Bachelor's degree and ten years' proven entrepreneurial success in launching opportunities within a technology-driven evolving industry. MBA preferred.
2 Electric vehicle automotive sector experience with firms such as Tesla, Nissan, Zap, Think, Toyota, or Aptera preferred.
3 Proven ability to think and act strategically in high-pressure situations as well as in planning.
4 Successful track record in raising capital.
5 Relationship-oriented with the ability to understand the needs of various customer segments and to foster close working relationships with partners and customers.
6 Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
7 Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate and persuade verbally, written, and interpersonally on multiple levels of individuals both internal and external to the organization.
8 Understanding of Technology Service based businesses
9 Business growth and leadership experience with technology companies over $500M in revenue or multiple entrepreneurial successes with technology companies over $50M in revenue.
10 Proven experience looking for unmet needs in a technology industry and striving to "own" that space?
