Details: Director of Operations for Electric Vehicle Services
The Director of Operations is responsible developing and operating the process and system to deliver the company's EV Services to customers. Scope includes enrollment, billing, customer support, and charger operations. Success is measured by cost, time, quality, and customer satisfaction across the various processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design processes to deliver the products, offers, and customer experience defined by the marketing team including enrollment, provisioning, invoicing, billing, remittance, collections, and support.
- Build-out and operate the company's public Fast Charge network in conjunction with possible changer, installation, support, and operations vendors
- Manage the installation, support, and operation of customer home chargers with the possible support of managed vendors
- Manage energy forecasting, scheduling, and settlement as well as the optimization of home and public charging to minimize energy cost and grid demands while meeting customer outcomes
- Provide operational support as needed to channel partners, convenience charging partners, and retail perks partners in order to support our customers
- Design and build the interfaces to electricity partner billing and CIS systems to implement products and offers
- Design the customer experience in conjunction with the implementation by marketing and business development
- Recruit and guide professional development of team members, ensuring they obtain necessary skills and capabilities to deliver committed outcomes

Location: Houston, Texas
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college or university with major in Operations, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or Sciences
- MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred but not required
Experience:
- 10+ years experience in consumer-focused services operations
- 5+ years in telecom, cable, satellite, or other consumer services industry
- 5+ years of operations management and execution
- Experience in building out an infrastructure for a consumer services offering
- Track record of building operational capabilities in a new space with small team
- Experience in growing an operations team around a new opportunity
- Applicable operations experience at the strategic, management, and tactical levels
- Strategic thinker with strong team execution ability

- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- 20%+ travel
- Will require overtime
