Details: COO /CFO
As a result of our rapid growth, our client is seeking an experienced COO/CFO with a strong background in small to medium-sized companies from the Software industry, to become a key member of its leadership team. The COO/CFO will provide operational and financial leadership to the company.
Our client is a rapidly growing company delivering next generation, cutting edge software solutions that automate business processes such as order management, inventory control, project management and customer management. These solutions are delivered to small and medium size businesses (SMBs) via the web.
We are looking for an accomplished, high energy COO/CFO to work out of our Portland headquarters.
As a member of the senior management team, you will manage a function tasked with providing financial modeling, continued Venture Capital funding, and financial oversight, You will use your skills and experience to align business strategies with the direction of the organization in taking the company to the next level, including an IPO.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work at the Board of Directors level.
- Prior software COO/CFO start-up - pre-IPO experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop funding/investment opportunities
- Strong technical background preferred
- Act as liaison with outside accounting firms, investor and banking relationships.
- Background in risk management, compliance and policy issues.
- Executive presence with a hands-on business approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Provide leadership and manage a best-in-class Accounting department.
- Work on strategic objectives as needed.
